What is Patient Services?
With Patient Services you can now view, book and cancel appointments at your local GP surgery from home, work or on the move — wherever you can connect to the internet.
You can also use Patient Services to order your repeat prescriptions. No more having to ring, email or bring in the green repeat slip - just log on and click the items you require.
What is more, because Patient Services is a 24 hour online service you can do this in your own time, day or night.
Online Access to Your Record
From 1st April 2015 you can use Patient Services to access your medical record. If you already use Patient Services for appointments and repeat medication, you will need to bring in proof of ID before you can use the Access to Records Service.
How do I register for Patient Services?
You must register for a username, password and a user token. This information will be emailed to you using the email address you provide as part of the registration process.
A copy of the registration form is available at the Surgery Reception. You will have to bring in a form of photo ID to register, to confirm your identity eg. Passport or Driving Licence.
If you are wanting to register a child for Patient Services you must provide ID to prove that you are the parent/guardian of the child. Once a child reaches 16 access will be suspended and they will have the opportunity in discussion with their parent/guardian to have access rights assigned to them rather than their parent/guardian.
Once you have your username, password and user token you can register for Patient Services.
